Mickayla brings a wealth of experience and a passion for making tax simple and approachable. She launched her career at RSM, specializing in the construction and real estate industry before expanding into exempt organizations and exploring how technology can transform the tax profession.
After relocating to Jacksonville in 2020, Mickayla worked as a live representative for TurboTax, gaining unique insight into helping individuals navigate complex tax situations with confidence. She later returned to RSM in Minneapolis before joining Pivot CPAs in 2022, where she now focuses on Partnerships, S Corporations, Individuals, and Exempt Organizations.
Known for her responsiveness and client-first approach, Mickayla also has experience with multi-state filings and resolving IRS and State notices. Her goal is simple: to make tax compliance less stressful and more understandable for every client.
