Bill is a Senior Manager in the Accounting Services department at Pivot CPAs. With more than 20 years of accounting and business management experience, he partners with closely held businesses and their owners to provide practical, hands-on support with financial reporting, tax compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations. Bill is known for being detail-oriented, approachable, and committed to helping clients make sense of their numbers so they can focus on running and growing their businesses.
Bill rejoined Pivot CPAs in September 2024 as Senior Manager in the Accounting department after successfully owning and operating 11-1 Accounting Services, LLC in Jacksonville, Florida. At 11-1 Accounting Services, he acted as an outsourced CFO/Controller for a variety of small, medium, and large companies, including a manufacturing company, a health and wellness company, and a commercial rental property owner. Under his leadership, the firm supported more than 100 businesses and grew to employ multiple team members.
Prior to launching his own firm, Bill served as an Accounting Manager at Pivot CPAs (2014–2018), where he managed accounting functions for multiple entities, including financial statement preparation, payroll and sales tax reporting, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, inventory, and P&L analysis. He also supervised a team in the accounting department and helped establish procedures for recurring monthly work.
Earlier in his career, Bill held several accounting and management roles in New York, including Business Manager for a metal recycling company, Accounting Manager for a recycling company, Accountant/Business Manager with a regional CPA firm, and Program Director for a youth services nonprofit. These experiences gave him a strong foundation in both the financial and operational sides of running a business.
Bill is skilled in general ledger accounting, inventory control, bank and revenue reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and financial analysis. He has extensive experience with ProSystem Tax and Fixed Asset, QuickBooks (Enterprise, Pro, and Online), NetSuite, Xero, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Bill serves with Project Savior Outdoors, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans and first responders through outdoor activities and faith-based outreach. He is passionate about helping others find hope, community, and purpose.
He has also been active in his local church, and youth and community programs throughout his career, drawing on his earlier experience as a program director working with families and at-risk youth.
Bill lives in the Jacksonville area with his wife, Gina, and their boxer and two pugs, Diamond, Daisy and Dusty. Outside the office, he enjoys time with family, traveling around Florida, watching football, and discovering new restaurants
