  • Essential Functions:
  • Partnering with members of the firm to determine staffing needs
  • Proactively recruiting for specialized positions
  • Maintaining a presence on college campuses
  • Developing relationships with key college contacts for hiring purposes
  • Recommending and coordinating employee engagement programs and events
  • Conducting internal assessments of employee satisfaction
  • Acting as a liaison between marketing team and recruiting team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree. Preferred majors include: business, HR, marketing or communications
  • Recruiting or Human Resources experience from an internship or previous work required.
  • Candidates with 3-5 years of experience are strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook) required
  • Familiarity with accounting profession preferred

Pivot CPAs – Family Office Services

Location: Ponte Vedra Beach, FL

Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site

Do you have hands-on experience supporting high-net-worth clients through a CPA firm or family office? At Pivot CPAs, we go Beyond Accounting—and that includes delivering white-glove service to our Family Office clients. We’re looking for an Experienced Family Office Associate to join our growing team and help manage the complex financial lives of successful individuals and families.

This is a high-touch, relationship-driven role that blends accounting, financial coordination, and strategic support. You’ll work closely with our Family Office Administrator, as well as directly with clients, attorneys, and investment advisors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations for high-net-worth clients, including bill pay, cash flow tracking, and account reconciliations
  • Prepare and review financial reports, net worth statements, and investment summaries
  • Coordinate with external advisors (CPAs, attorneys, investment managers) on tax planning, estate planning, and compliance matters
  • Support the preparation and review of individual, trust, and entity tax documents (in collaboration with the tax team)
  • Maintain accurate records of client activity, including charitable contributions, capital calls, and distributions
  • Assist with onboarding new family office clients and maintaining client portals and documentation
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance client service
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion in all client matters

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a CPA firm or family office is required
  • Tax background preferred
  • CPA license a plus
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, investment reporting, and estate/trust structures
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, bill pay platforms, etc.)

Now Hiring: Tax Resolution Specialist

Location: Ponte Vedra Beach, FL (On-site)

Reports To: Tax Partners / Managing Partner

Required Credentials

– Bachelor’s Degree

– EA (Enrolled Agent) or Active CPA License

– Minimum 5+ years of direct experience in IRS representation and tax controversy work

Key Responsibilities

  • Advocating for and representing clients before the IRS in audits, appeals, collections, and other tax controversy matters.
  • Prepare and respond to IRS notices, correspondence, and requests for information
  • Develop and execute strategies for resolving tax disputes, including Offers in Compromise, Installment Agreements, and Penalty Abatements
  • Conduct thorough reviews of client tax filings and financial records to support defense strategies
  • Collaborate with internal tax teams during busy season for preparation and review of complex returns
  • Maintain detailed documentation of case progress, communications, and outcomes
  • Stay current on federal tax laws, IRS procedures, and regulatory changes
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for internal staff and clients on tax controversy issues

Skills & Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of IRS procedures, audit processes, and appeals
  • Strong knowledge of individual, corporate, and partnership taxation
  • Experience with tax resolution tools and portals (e.g., IRS e-Services, CAF, Practitioner Priority Service)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in drafting IRS correspondence
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive client matters
  • Proficiency in tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding how to effectively leverage the Taxpayer Advocate Service to support clients.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in a public accounting firm or tax law firm
  • Familiarity with federal and state-level tax controversy matters (especially Florida Department of Revenue)
  • Experience mentoring junior staff and interacting with a larger team.
  • Master’s degree in Accounting preferred.
