Giancarlo Sanchez is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in assurance and financial analysis across both public and private sectors. He currently serves as Assurance Supervisor at Pivot, where he leads audit engagements, mentors staff and ensures compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory standards. Giancarlo’s expertise includes risk assessment, financial statement analysis, and strategic planning, enabling him to deliver high-quality results for a diverse client base.
Prior to his current role, Giancarlo served as a Senior Financial Analyst at LHH, providing advanced financial insights to support corporate decision-making. He also gained significant experience at Ernst & Young in the Financial Services Office, managing complex assurance engagements for major financial institutions. Earlier in his career, he advanced through multiple roles at Pivot CPAs—from intern to experienced staff—building a strong foundation in audit procedures and client service.
Giancarlo holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of North Florida, where he actively participated in student organizations including the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) and Rotaract Club. He also earned an Associate of Science in Business Administration from St. Johns College Junior College in Belize, graduating with honors.
