Pivot CPAs is pleased to share that this year the firm is sponsoring two children from the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind from the Holiday Angel Tree.
“It is an honor to the firm that we can take these two young people under our wing this holiday season,” said Peter Reynolds, CPA, managing partner of Pivot CPAs. “Our firm is committed to giving back to the community in which we live and work, and this is a fantastic opportunity to do so. I am so pleased that our team chose to support this young man and young woman together.”
The Florida School for the Deaf and Blind is a public school in St. Augustine, available tuition-free to eligible Pre-K through 12 students who are deaf/hard of hearing or blind/visually impaired. It is the largest of its type in the United States. 450 of the students live on campus Sunday afternoon through Friday afternoon and return to their hometowns each weekend. The Angel Tree program is put on by the Salvation Army each holiday season. It provides toys for children of families in need through the support of donors. The students participating in the Angel Tree that Pivot CPAs is supporting are homeless. They are living out of cars or in other such extremely challenging conditions. These children are desperately in need of support this holiday season.
