Jason has served on the Pivot CPAs team since 2021. In his capacity as the firm’s tax controversy manager, he is responsible for researching tax laws and contacting federal and state agencies on behalf of clients. He is the go-to person in the firm for IRS and state tax bureau issues. Jason also takes on personal and business tax preparation engagements. A professional in the accounting field since 2010, Jason became an Enrolled Agent in 2016. Prior to joining Pivot, he worked in tax preparation and tax representation roles for several other accounting firms.

As an Enrolled Agent, Jason is affiliated with the National Association of Enrolled Agents. Additionally, he remains involved with his alma maters via the Florida State College at Jacksonville and the University of North Florida alumni associations. He is currently attending Champlain College for his MBA.

Originally from Enon, Ohio, Jason currently lives in Shelburne, Vermont with his wife, Amanda and they have four children, Skyler, Logan, Lucas, and Olivia. They also have three pets, named Zoey, Squeaks, and Rikku. Outside of the office, he enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, and spending time with his family.
